A FULL scholarship for the San Simón Fiddle course 2023 (for children between 7-18)
A FULL scholarship for the Encordass course 2023 (for adults over 18 years old).
The courses will take place at the 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗼́𝗻 (𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮, 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗮) 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗼.
This year, the courses will be dedicated to Cajun music. This is a music with influenceace French, but that in the hands of the descendants fCanadians who settled in southern Louisiana (USA), was acquiring Native American, African, Spanish and English elements, which gives this music a unique flavor. The violin, the guitar and the double bass are some of the most used instruments in this genre.
Students from 14 to 28 years old
